Mass Professional Networking Events & Happenings October 2026 - How to Prepare for a Networking Event -

Mass Professional Networking Events & Happenings October 2026 - How to Prepare For a Networking Event -

Check out our events on http://www.aimcbizsolutions.com/massp...
and click the Event List to the right. Networking events can be exciting, but they can also feel a little awkward if you’re not prepared. The good news? A little preparation can make a BIG difference. 1. Get Your Social Profiles and Business Cards Ready First go through all of your social media profiles including LinkedIn and make sure they are up to date. Make sure you have plenty of business cards before you walk through the door. You never know who you’re going to meet, and you don’t want to run out when the conversation gets good. 2. Eat First Trying to shake hands, hold a drink, balance a plate, and eat at the same time can be awkward! If possible, grab something to eat before the event so you can focus on the people around you. 3. Know Your Goals Why are you attending? Are you looking to meet potential clients, referral partners, employers, candidates—or simply expand your network? Have a purpose, but don't make every conversation a sales pitch. 4. Understand the Dress Code Take a minute to find out what people will be wearing. Dressing appropriately helps you feel comfortable and confident when you walk into the room. 5. Remember: Everyone Is There for the Same Reason This is the BIG one.

You are not the only person who doesn't know everyone in the room. Most people are there to meet new people, build relationships, and expand their network. So, smile, introduce yourself, ask questions, and start a conversation. You don't have to work the entire room. Just start with one person. Good networking isn't about collecting the most business cards. It's about making meaningful connections. So, before your next networking event, prepare yourself—and then get in the room! Network. Connect. Build Relationships.

AIMC Fitness Tip - As You Get Older, It Is About the Quality Not the Quantity of your Workout

As You Get Older, It’s About Quality—Not Quantity

When it comes to fitness, more isn’t always better, especially as you get older.

You don't necessarily need longer workouts or more intense training. What matters is making the time you exercise count.

As we age, a smart fitness routine should focus on the things that help us stay strong, mobile, balanced, and independent:

💪 Strength – Resistance training helps maintain muscle and supports everyday activities.

🧘 Flexibility & Mobility – Stretching and mobility exercises can help you move more comfortably and maintain your range of motion.

⚖️ Balance – Balance exercises become increasingly important as we age and can help support stability and confidence.

❤️ Cardiovascular Fitness – Walking, cycling, swimming, or other activities that get your heart working can support overall health.

Think Quality Over Quantity

A focused 30-minute workout where you challenge your muscles, work on your balance, and get your heart rate up can be more valuable than spending hours exercising without a clear purpose.

And don't underestimate walking. Consistent movement throughout the day can be an important part of staying active.

The goal isn't necessarily to train like you're 25.

The goal is to stay strong, mobile, active, and healthy for the years ahead.

So the next time you exercise, don't just ask:

"How long did I work out?"

Ask:

"Did my workout help me become stronger, healthier, and more capable?"

That's the AIMC Health Tip: As you get older, make every workout count. Quality over quantity.

AIMC Cybersecurity Tip - Your Company Data Isn’t the Only Data You’re Responsible For -

Cybersecurity isn’t just an IT issue. It’s a business responsibility.

Watch our video here - AIMC Cybersecurity Tip - Your Company Data Isn’t the Only Data You’re Responsible For -

Every day, companies collect and store valuable information—not only about their business, but about their customers, employees, partners, and vendors.

Names. Addresses. Financial information. Passwords. Business records. Personal data.

And cybercriminals are constantly looking for the weakest link.

That’s why companies need to confirm—not assume—that they are following current cybersecurity best practices.

Are your systems patched and updated?
Are employees trained to recognize phishing and social engineering?
Is sensitive data properly protected?
Are access controls and passwords secure?
Are backups tested and recoverable?
Do you know what would happen if your business were breached tomorrow?

“We’ve never had a problem” is not a cybersecurity strategy.

A data breach can cost far more than money. It can damage your reputation, disrupt your business, and destroy the trust you've worked years to build.

Take a fresh look at your cybersecurity today.

Because protecting your company’s information is important.

Protecting your customers’ information is a responsibility.

AIMC Health Tip - What is Collagen and How Does It Help Your Body -

Collagen is more than a beauty buzzword—it’s one of the most important proteins in your body.

In fact, collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It provides structure and support for your skin, bones, cartilage, tendons, muscles and connective tissues. Think of it as part of the framework that helps keep your body strong and resilient. Why Does Collagen Matter? As we get older, our body's natural production of collagen gradually decreases. Lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, smoking, poor sleep and alcohol consumption can also contribute to collagen breakdown. That's why supporting your body's natural collagen production can be an important part of a healthy-aging routine.

Watch our video here - (58) AIMC Health Tip - What is Collagen and How Does It Help Your Body - - YouTube Where Can You Get Collagen? You can get collagen naturally from foods that contain connective tissue, including: Bone broth Chicken skin Fish skin and connective tissue Certain cuts of beef and other meats Gelatin You can also support your body's ability to make collagen by eating foods rich in protein, vitamin C, zinc and other nutrients. Good choices include fish, chicken, eggs, dairy, beans, nuts, seeds, citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, tomatoes, broccoli and bell peppers. And don't overlook vitamin C. Your body needs vitamin C to produce collagen, making fruits and vegetables an important part of the equation.

What About Collagen+? For those looking to add collagen supplementation to their wellness routine, Market America's Collagen+ is another option to consider. Market America materials feature Pure Collagen+ as a collagen supplement that can be added to beverages such as tea and smoothies. You can find Collagen+ on http://www.allinmycart.com The key is to think of collagen supplementation as one piece of the puzzle—not a replacement for good nutrition, exercise, sleep and other healthy habits. AIMC Health Tip Eat well. Stay active. Get enough sleep. Protect your skin from the sun. And give your body the nutritional building blocks it needs to support healthy collagen production. Your body is constantly rebuilding and repairing itself. Give it the right tools to do the job! This information is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. Talk with your healthcare professional before starting a new supplement.
