AIMC Health Tip - Why the Delivery System of Your Supplements Is Essential?

The idea behind a “supplement delivery system” is simple: it’s not just what you take—it’s how your body absorbs and uses it. Two people can take the same vitamin and get very different benefits depending on the delivery method.

Why delivery systems matter?

Check out our YouTube video here -
(23) AIMC Health Tip - Why the Delivery System of Your Supplements Is Essential? - YouTube Your body has several barriers that can reduce how much of a supplement actually gets used: - Digestion breakdown: Stomach acid and enzymes can destroy or alter nutrients before they’re absorbed - Absorption limits: The small intestine can only absorb certain amounts at a time - Bioavailability: This refers to how much of a nutrient actually reaches your bloodstream A good delivery system improves bioavailability, meaning you get more benefit from the same dose. Common supplement delivery types - Tablets/capsules: Convenient but often slower to dissolve and absorb Liquids: Faster absorption, but can still be affected by digestion - Powders mixed in water: Can improve absorption speed, depending on formulation - Liposomal delivery: Uses fat-based carriers to help nutrients pass through cell membrane. Where Isotonix fits in? Isotonix is a branded delivery system designed to mimic the body’s natural fluid balance.

“Isotonic” means the solution has a similar concentration of particles as your body fluids Because of this, nutrients can pass through the stomach more quickly and be absorbed in the small intestine faster The powdered formula mixed with water creates a solution that may improve uptake compared to standard pills In theory, this leads to: - Faster nutrient absorption - Less breakdown in the stomach - Potentially higher bioavailability Does it actually make a difference? Here’s the grounded take: - Faster absorption can be helpful in certain cases (e.g., hydration, electrolytes, some vitamins) - But for many nutrients, your body regulates absorption tightly anyway—so “faster” doesn’t always mean “better” - The overall impact depends on the specific ingredient, your diet, and your health status Bottom line A delivery system like Isotonix can improve how efficiently some nutrients are absorbed, especially compared to basic tablets. But it’s not magic—the quality of the ingredients, proper dosing, and your overall diet matter just as much (often more). AIMC Health Tip - Why You Need to Take a Break from Supplements?

Supplements is a multi-billion-dollar industry. There are thousands of companies and every day something new is coming out. While supplements are a subset of great health when you think of your all-encompassing lifestyle, they are not the magic formula to great health along. The quality of the supplements is important and more importantly, following the directions and monitoring your results is essential.

The one supplement I don’t recommend taking a break from is daily vitamin and mineral supplements. They don’t lose their effectiveness, and the body needs the micronutrients they supply daily. The rationale for taking supplements in the first place is as insurance against nutritional gaps in the diet and as added defense against increasing toxic pressures from the environment. Ideally, your diet should provide most of your nutritional needs, and it can if it is the right diet for you, richly varied, and abundant in fresh vegetables and fruits. So, if you are not eating a proper diet, a supplement can help close the gap. When taking a supplement, it is important to monitor the progress. If you are taking a Vitamin B supplement, do you feel more energized and focused? Or if you are taking Magnesium, are you calmer and sleeping better? If the supplement is not helping then, it may be time to ditch it or find a better product. If you’re taking supplements on a daily basis, you should be aware that many will lose their effectiveness if you use them all the time or too frequently. Medicinal plants are best viewed as dilute forms of natural drugs, not as foods or dietary supplements. For that reason, you should not take them casually or for no good reason, any more than you would take a pharmaceutical drug casually or for no good reason. So, it is important to take a break and cleanse your body and then restart at a later date. So, there you go! As mentioned, I am not saying supplements are not good for you, but they are part of your overall lifestyle plan and need to be taken properly and in time for better health. We invite you to take the 60 Second Health Quiz to understand what supplements are best for you and once you receive the results, let's follow-up and answer your questions and come up with a plan!

The Wonders of Vitamin C - Why It Is Essential for Anti-Aging - Renew and Reset -

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals — molecules produced when your body breaks down food or is exposed to tobacco smoke and radiation from the sun, X-rays or other sources. Free radicals might play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases. Vitamin C also helps your body absorb and store iron.

Because your body doesn't produce vitamin C, you need to get it from your diet. Vitamin C is found in citrus fruits, berries, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli and spinach. Vitamin C is also available as an oral supplement such as Isotonix.
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has several important functions.
- Helping to protect cells and keeping them healthy.
- Maintaining healthy skin, blood vessels, bones and cartilage.
- Helping with wound healing.
Topical vitamin C is a science-backed, dermatologist-favorite ingredient that may help slow early skin aging, prevent sun damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne.

What Is the Difference between Vitamins and Minerals? An Overview of Each Vitamin & Mineral.

The main difference between vitamins and minerals is based on their chemical makeup. Vitamins are organic compounds and can be broken down by heat, air, or acid. Minerals are considered inorganic compounds and hold onto their chemical structure even if exposed to heat, air, or acid. Minerals in soil and water find their way into your body when you eat or drink.

Vitamins are classified by how they are absorbed in the body, either in fats or with water.
The four fat-soluble vitamins are Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Once they are absorbed, these vitamins are stored in the liver, muscles, and fat. Fat-soluble vitamins can naturally be found in fatty foods like fish and fish oils, egg yolks, dairy, and liver.
Here is a rundown of each Vitamin -
Vitamin A – supports skin health, healthy vision, and immune health
Vitamin D – supports bone health and healthy immune cell function
Vitamin E – important for antioxidant activity and supports the body’s natural immune defenses
Vitamin K – needed for supporting healthy artery and vascular function
Vitamin C – needed for immune system support, acts as an antioxidant, and is essential for collagen synthesis to support skin health
Thiamine – important for cellular energy production and supports nervous system function
Riboflavin – acts as an antioxidant and helps convert food into cellular energy
Niacin – supports cellular energy production and nervous system function
Pantothenic acid – helps support cellular energy production and the body’s natural stress response
Folate – helps support red blood cell formation and production of neurotransmitters and SAM-e
Biotin – supports the metabolism of carbohydrates, protein and fats and helps and is a nutrient that supports healthy skin and hair
Vitamin B6 – supports cellular energy production and nervous system function
Vitamin B12 – supports nervous system function and cellular energy production
Minerals used in the body are classified by the amount that your body needs. Major minerals (also known as macrominerals) are needed in large amounts and include Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Chloride, and Sulfur. Trace minerals are needed in small amounts and include Iron, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Iodine, Selenium, and Fluoride.
Here is a rundown of each mineral:
Calcium – supports strong and healthy bones
Phosphorus –involved in the structure of bone and cell membranes
Potassium –helps support heart, nerve, and muscle function
Magnesium – supports bone muscle and nerve and heart health and essential for more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the body
Sodium – An electrolyte that helps regulate fluid balance and conduct nerve impulse.
Chloride – Works together with sodium and helps maintain fluid balance.
Sulfur – A trace element used by the body in collagen, connective tissue, and joint cartilage.
Iron – necessary for red blood cell formation
Copper – provides antioxidant support and helps support a healthy immune system
Zinc – provides antioxidant supports and helps support a healthy immune response
Manganese – Involved in carbohydrate, amino acid, and cholesterol metabolism.
Iodine – Essential for thyroid health and function.
Selenium – antioxidant support and a key nutrient for a healthy immune system
Fluoride – Needed for the development and strength of teeth and bones.

How Is Your Supplement's Delivery System? Are You Getting Results?

Dietary supplements cover a diverse group of products that range from botanicals and proteins to antioxidants and vitamins. And while they vary greatly in form and function, there is one common bond that unites their place in human health – they require an often-unseen partner that comes in the form of a nutrient delivery system. In short, delivery systems are designed to allow each supplement’s active ingredients to be presented to the body in consumable form, making them easily released and absorbed by the body. NOW offers a number of unique delivery systems that include hard shell capsules, tablets, soft gels, liquid concentrates, liquid extracts, powders, and even effervescent powders. And although these systems deliver essentially the same nutrients, their function can differ greatly based on the manner in which each one shuttles nutrients to specific regions of the body. Liquid supplements are one of the most readily absorbed forms of vitamins and minerals available. They're also generally better tolerated. To that same point, liquid supplements are not known for their delicious flavors.
You probably heard of "Isotonic" delivery.

Everything you eat and drink, including nutritional supplements, must be made isotonic before passing into your small intestine where it can be absorbed. "Isotonic" means having the same fluid pressure as your other bodily fluids like blood and tears. When you eat food, drink a beverage, or take a pill or capsule, your stomach must first secrete diluting juices, enzymes, hydrochloric acid, and at least one vitamin-binding protein to continue the process of digestion. Muscular contractions of your stomach then mix the contents until a reasonably uniform solution is achieved. This process can take anywhere from 40 minutes to four hours. Isotonix products are scientifically formulated with the perfect balance of fructose, d-glucose, citric acid, potassium bicarbonate and other ingredients to ensure that they are isotonic the moment they enter your body. When properly mixed with water and taken on an empty stomach, the isotonic solution flows into your small intestine almost immediately.

So, in summary, Isotonix is the best delivery system to assure you are getting the most results from your supplements. For more information, check out -

Different Ways To Take Your Vitamins - Which One Is The Most Effective and Painless

Supplements are Important for Your Health & Wellness since they do as advertised. They "supplement" your body with the vitamins and minerals that your body doesn't get the recommended amount from food. There are many ways to take your vitamins but it is how effective the outcome is the most important. It is all about the fastest absorption possible into your bloodstream and small intestines.

Here are the common ways to take vitamins from least effective to most effective: - Capsules - They are easy/fast but least effective due to time needed to break down the capsule in your body. - Gels/Chewables - I put these two together since they are similar where they are easy/fast and the absorption is a little better than a capsule. Like Capsules there are extra ingredients just to make the product a gel or chewable. Remember you want a vitamin, not a gummy bear! - IV Shot - Again, this is fast and easy if you like getting a needle. However, it is expensive and time-consuming since you need to make an appointment at a facility. The absorption is instant since the shot of nutrients go right into your bloodstream. The con is that it is a needle. Ouch! - Liquid Vitamins - It takes some work to put the powder in a glass with some water and stir it up, however, this is the most effective way to take a supplement. The product is biodegradable and hits your bloodstream and small intestine fast for maximum absorption.

Our Isotonix Supplements are based around the best absorption and highest quality ingredients.

Digestive Health & Your Weight Loss with TLS & AIMC Health Solutions

In recent years, more and more studies have shown that our gut health plays a huge role in affecting many facets of our health.  Our diet, exercise, sleep, and stress levels all affect our gut health.  We always say the road to health is paved with good intestines.  Your body contains trillions of bacteria, and most of these bacteria are in your intestines.

It influences how different food is digested and it affects your hormones to let you know when you are full or hungry.  The bacteria in your gut help you digest food and enable you to absorb important nutrients.  It’s no surprise that the gut plays a role in affecting your weight whether you are looking to gain healthy weight or lose those stubborn fats or weight.  Did you know your gut bacteria play an important role in inflammation?  A study has shown that people who are overweight had lower gut bacteria diversity and higher levels of C-protein 1. Furthermore, we know that high levels of C-reactive protein impedes access of leptin (hormones that let us know we are full) to the brain2 so hence we don’t get the full signal to stop eating when we should.  Therefore, improving our gut health or maintaining good gut health is so vital to weight management.

Here are some helpful tips to increase the diversity of your gut microbiomes and support your digestive health:

  1. Follow any TLS menu plan. In TLS, we always emphasize eating a low glycemic impact diet rich in wholesome food (vegetables and fruits). Why? They are rich in dietary fiber that is good for gut bacteria. In addition, they are rich in nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
  2. Add fermented foods to your TLS plan. Foods such as kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi contain beneficial probiotics to support a healthy gut microbiome.
  3. Consider adding probiotics. Probiotics 10 and NutriClean Probiotics provide extra support for your gut. Each provides beneficial bacteria to promote healthy digestion, while Probiotics 10 also helps support weight loss efforts. *
  4. Digesting and absorbing nutrients. This is essential to ensure your body is equipped with adequate nutrition for good health.  Taking Isotonix Digestive Enzymes with Probiotics can provide enzymes and good bacteria to promote digestion and absorption. *
  5. Limit foods that don’t serve you. Foods that are high in refined carbohydrates, sugar, unhealthy processed oils, and fats in addition to conventional dairy reduce inflammation as well as affecting your gut microbiome.
  6. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 cups) daily. Add citrus if you find it hard to get adequate amounts of water.
  7. Move your body. Make physical activity part of your daily routine.
  8. Kick start it. If you really want to kick start your gut health and weight loss journey, we always suggest starting with our TLS Detox Menu Plan, combined with the NutriClean 7-day Cleansing System. Continue your healthy gut journey with tips 1-7 to help maintain good health and support your weight loss progress.
