AIMC Health Tip - Why You Need to Take a Break from Supplements?
The one supplement I don’t recommend taking a break from is daily vitamin and mineral supplements. They don’t lose their effectiveness, and the body needs the micronutrients they supply daily. The rationale for taking supplements in the first place is as insurance against nutritional gaps in the diet and as added defense against increasing toxic pressures from the environment. Ideally, your diet should provide most of your nutritional needs, and it can if it is the right diet for you, richly varied, and abundant in fresh vegetables and fruits. So, if you are not eating a proper diet, a supplement can help close the gap. When taking a supplement, it is important to monitor the progress. If you are taking a Vitamin B supplement, do you feel more energized and focused? Or if you are taking Magnesium, are you calmer and sleeping better? If the supplement is not helping then, it may be time to ditch it or find a better product. If you’re taking supplements on a daily basis, you should be aware that many will lose their effectiveness if you use them all the time or too frequently. Medicinal plants are best viewed as dilute forms of natural drugs, not as foods or dietary supplements. For that reason, you should not take them casually or for no good reason, any more than you would take a pharmaceutical drug casually or for no good reason. So, it is important to take a break and cleanse your body and then restart at a later date. So, there you go! As mentioned, I am not saying supplements are not good for you, but they are part of your overall lifestyle plan and need to be taken properly and in time for better health. We invite you to take the 60 Second Health Quiz to understand what supplements are best for you and once you receive the results, let's follow-up and answer your questions and come up with a plan!

How Can You Leverage AI to Help Build Your Small Business?
It is a fact that you need to embrace AI today to stay ahead of your competition. AI is not replacing jobs, AI replacing people that don't embrace AI. As a small business owner, it is important to understand what you have access to, in order to stay ahead of your competition.
Here's how you can leverage AI to help build your small business, organized into actionable areas:
1. Enhance Marketing & Outreach
- Content Creation: Use AI tools (like Jasper or ChatGPT) to generate blog posts, email campaigns, ad copy, and product descriptions.
- Email Personalization: Platforms like Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign use AI to tailor content and timing to each subscriber.
- Ad Optimization: Google Ads and Meta Ads use AI to automatically target the right audience and adjust bids for better ROI.
2. Automate Customer Support
- AI Chatbots: Tools like Intercom, Tidio, or Zendesk provide 24/7 support, handling FAQs and routing more complex queries to humans.
- Self-Service Help Centers: AI can help build dynamic knowledge bases that evolve based on customer behavior.
3. Streamline Operations
- Task Automation: Use Zapier or Make.com with AI to connect and automate workflows across your apps (e.g., auto-send invoices after a sale).
- Inventory & Supply Chain Forecasting: AI can predict demand patterns, helping avoid overstock or stockouts.
4. Make Smarter Financial Decisions
- Bookkeeping & Forecasting: AI-powered platforms like QuickBooks and Xero provide real-time financial insights and future cash flow predictions.
- Pricing Strategy: Dynamic pricing tools adjust prices in real-time based on market trends, competition, and customer demand.
5. Improve Customer Understanding
- Analytics & Behavior Tracking: AI tools track how customers interact with your site and suggest changes to improve engagement.
- Sentiment Analysis: Analyze reviews, emails, and feedback to understand customer satisfaction and concerns.
6. Optimize Sales Efforts
- Lead Scoring: AI CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot can prioritize leads most likely to convert.
- Automated Outreach: AI tools can draft personalized sales emails and follow-ups based on customer data.
7. Boost Productivity
- Smart Scheduling: AI tools like Clockwise and Motion optimize calendars and meeting times.
- AI Writing & Admin Assistance: Tools like ChatGPT or Notion AI can summarize meetings, write documents, and manage tasks.
By integrating AI across these areas, you can save time, cut costs, and grow faster—even with limited resources.
